Jaws – You’re are going to need a bigger boat.
Easy Rider – We Blew It
The Godfather – Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
The Big Lebowski – Smokey This is not ‘Nam. This is bowling. There are rules.
At 1:10…but it’s only 2:16 long…it’s worth a complete listen
Animal House – What? Over? Did you say ‘over’? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Caddyshack – You buy a hat like this, I bet you get a free bowl of soup.
What About Bob? – Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m schizophrenic, and so am I
Scarface – I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.
Duck Soup – I got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.
It’s A Wonderful Life – Well, you look about the kind of angel I’d get. Sort of a fallen angel, aren’t you? What happened to your wings?
At 3:13 – 3:20
I loved these. The Big Lebowski has to be one of the greatest written comedy movies. I was only watching John Goodman the other day saying how funny he thought the script was.
That line in Jaws has become part of the popular vernacular. Richard Dreyfus was so perfect in that role.

Dreyfus was perfect for that role. The tension between him and the character Quint during the movie was great.

Was he indeed and Quint as you mention. The fact the movie was even completed is kind of miraculous. The making of Jaws has got to be one of the best behind of the scenes movie docos.

I should watch “What About Bob” again. I remember loving it when it came out and having it on VHS, but haven’t seen it in years. Bill Murray was the funniest guy around in that era…

I’ve only seen a few of those movies, but definitely remember those lines.

Rodney’s lines in Caddyshack were classic: “Hey, honey, I bet you were something in the days before electricity,” “How’d you like to make fourteen bucks the hard way,” “Last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it,” “who stepped on the duck,” “Wang! Come on! This is the parking lot!” Funny, funny movie, the way he and Ted Knight would go at it…

I used “How’d you like to make fourteen bucks the hard way,” in the last one….that movie is a goldmine of quotes. I was going to use the electricity one in this one.
Another movie that has a lot of quotes is Arthur.
Knight and Dangerfield made the movie to me…love the moments they shared on screen.
