Closing Down For Two To Three Weeks.

Hello everyone… I hate to but I’m going to have to take a short vacation from blogging. Work has been very busy lately and for around 2 or so weeks…it’s not going to let up.

I’ve barely been able to stay caught up recently so I thought I would shut down the place for a short amount of time instead of a complete month like last August. That should be enough time for the work projects to pass…plus I do need to recharge as well. I will start Star Trek back up as soon as I come back plus post some original songs.

I wish all of you the best and I may drop by once in a while. Thanks for reading!

We will miss you but even King Solomon understood the wisdom of times in life.

  1. We’ll miss you Max, but at the end of the day, blogging should be about having fun, not becoming a burden that conflicts with work. We don’t want you get get Maxed out! Hope these projects will fly by and you’ll be back in no time!😀

And, who knows, your traffic might spike in the meantime, since some folks may wonder, ‘what’s going on with Max, have I missed anything?’ and visit your blog!😆

    Cheers and take care!

  2. a much needed and deserved break , it sounds like. Very understandable! Remember to give yourself a break from that workload too from time to time – it’s crazy they’re making you work so many hours lately.

      1. Oh yea! One of those nights and I rarely have them…I usually sleep great. If I would have taken a benedryl that late I probably would have slept late…so I just stayed up.

  3. Max, I so get it. I have reached a point where blogging has had to take a back seat to other things. This is my usual “situation” when I ramp up blogging after an absence and it eventually runs smack dab into the rest of life. Best wishes for the work requirements to go as smoothly as possible!

    1. Thanks so much! In IT…like other fields something seems to come up a lot. It’s either an all or nothing type deal…right now it’s a full on ALL.
Thanks so much for the encouragement…other than work…I need to recharge also.

  4. Man’s got a do what a man’s gotta do, you have your priorities straight I think. As we say up here in Canada and perhaps even at the Bridgestone “keep your stick on the ice “. Take care my friend!

  5. Well overdue, I’m sure. I feel the same at times. But some things are more important than blogging … and some things actually pay ‘good dollar,’ as opposed to ‘no dollar at all!’
Enjoy the break – hopefully your proper work will still allow for that, and we’ll be waiting patiently for your return over here in UK.

  6. All frequent bloggers should build in some breaks — it’s fun to blog and interact with commenters, but each of my posts take 2 hrs minimum and I’m sure yours take at least that! I hope work slows down soon, and I hope even more that you’ll soon feel refreshed!

  7. Goodbye. Hello. Have a good break. I guess I’ll have to find my own morning tune for a while. The video is pretty strange. I’ve never seen anyone play drums that low – looks like a metal guitarist. And no one seems to be playing lead guitar.

    1. It looks like a kid’s kit they flash to for a minute. I need to look that up because I know that is not his kit in some shots. Thank you…

  8. Take it easy, Max. Real life always takes precedence over virtual community. You know we aren’t going anywhere so will be here when you get back. May your work projects go smoothly and may you get outside to enjoy some of that wonderful weather. See you on the flip side!
