Work Related Break

Usually, I plan these breaks out but this one was planned for me.

Our company has purchased two businesses and IT (that’s my department) will be involved heavily this month. This will interfere with my weekday posting. On the weekends…I should be fine. I will be traveling through some weeks also…so starting Monday…I will only be posting on weekends until July.  I have enough posts to post for 3 weeks but if I cannot comment back…why bother? So…this weekend I WILL post though and every weekend until July.

This time I really didn’t want a break but I’m not sure how much time I’d be able to use checking the blog. Thank you all again for checking my blog out I will see you on weekends and should be back full-time in July.

Thank you all again for reading this every day! See you tomorrow. I have to include a song…so this one works for me.

  1. It’s a drag to have all that extra work dumped on you but hopefully it goes well & you’ll be appreciated even more there. We’ll be watching for you these coming weekends!

    1. Yea this wasn’t planned at all…but I’ll make the best out of it.
Things were getting slow here so I should have known something was up lol.

  2. Princess Falda (Daughter) has been doing something similar. Rewarding but tired at the end of the day. She gets a nice fast ferry ride at the end of the day to chillax. She likes her tunes so I’m sure The Kinks would suit her.

    1. Love that name…I like it…it’s what I do and we have some time to do it but have to keep at it. Next week we will be here…shouldn’t have to do anything on the weekends. We had a ferry at one time…I loved riding on it.
I was listening to that Kinks song when I wrote it…I thought hey…it goes along with it.

  3. Work’s a right royal pain in the butt, isn’t it? A blogger’s nightmare!

(I’m sort of in the same situation at the moment, though not ‘work’ per se,)

Have fun – we’ll all still be here. 🙂

    1. Yes it is! I’ve been lucky enough to work at a profession where I can login and comment a lot.
Thanks! Good luck to you as well!

  4. Sometimes a change up- even the dreaded work- helps refresh us anyway. Let’s hope your work doesn’t turn into a State Of Confusion or a Dead End Street.

And yes, we’ll await the weekends.

    1. I think it is a good thing. I’m getting into the habit obbverse on my own…as you know taking a few weeks off here and there…and you are right…it does help and refresh it.
Last night I wanted to write a post…I didn’t know who to write it about so this has come at a good time.

      1. Yeah, I think I’ll ease back a bit for a while, maybe every week and half or so rather than every 4-5 days; A break and time to get the enthusiasm and mojo back. No point in making what should be a fun WP pastime a job that you find you’re toiling over. Wintry cold miserable days does tend to make grey days darker, even if it’s only the winter blues. Roll on summer I say!
