Will Be Back Soon…taking a short break.

Because of work and home projects…I’m going to take a short break and close the joint down. I’ll be back on November 17th. Last year I took a month and it was too long all at once and I took a couple of weeks this past April.

Thank you all for reading and commenting because that is the reason I still do this…the interaction. Along with the projects, this will give me a few days to recharge the batteries.

I didn’t think I’d see this band on any modern chart in my lifetime.

  1. I did the same thing recently with no end date posted ‘coz I didn’t know. I came back two months later. I post less frequently just because – at least for me – less is more.

    1. Recently I’ve been posting way more than usual…I will around a holiday but I went stupid. I agree with you though. Less is more really in a lot of ways. I try to keep mine short every day but thats not been the case recently.

  4. Enjoy the break Max. I reckon it’s a most necessary thing when blogging. I need to take a break myself but am desperate to get to the 3000th story and finish altogether – that will be around Feb 20 2024.

    1. I like the fullness of it and the sound. It sounds different than other things on the charts right now. The more I heard it the more I liked it…thats the same reaction I had to most songs…like Start Me Up by the Stones…it took me a few listens and now I think it’s the perfect closing song.

  7. I no longer commit to posting a certain amount … just as and when I can find any time. But with no pressure. It really is a nice feeling to realise you don’t HAVE to post every day.
    Enjoy your break – catch you when you’re good and ready. 🙂

    1. I once had a streak of over 1000 days going on of never missing…then I suddenly realized like you. Oh…I can take breaks every now and then…so I plan these every few months…I imagine in 4-5 months I’ll take another one.

    1. Thank you! It’s really cool seeing The Beatles in action. They were just introduced to yet another generation. I wasn’t in the first…I was in the second…
