This song was released in 1989 and was on the album Brain Drain. The album peaked at #41 in the Billboard 100 and #75 in the UK in 1989.
It is the last Ramones release to feature bassist/lyricist/vocalist Dee Dee Ramone, the first to feature Marky Ramone since his initial firing from the band after 1983’s Subterranean Jungle and the band’s last studio album on Sire Records.

It’s different for sure. Very cringeworthy. An odd thought, but I wonder if there is a couple out there who stopped fighting when they heard this.

Most modern XMAS songs don’t do it for me, but I like this one. The video is quite amusing. My friend is a big fan of the Ramones. I still haven’t heard much of their stuff. Two groups I have to hear more are The Ramones and the Smiths. The latter in particular I love what Ive heard of so far.

I like the Smiths… The Ramones to me…were basically pop music set to harder music…really catchy and fun.
