Slip Away
What would I give
For just a few moments
What would I give
Just to have you near
Tell me you will try
To slip away somehow
Oh, I need you, darling
I want to see you right now
Can you slip away
Slip away
Slip away
Oh, I need you so
Love, oh, love
How sweet it is
When you steal it, darling
Let me tell you somethin’ now how sweet it is
Now I know it’s wrong
The things I ask you to do
But please believe me, darling
I don’t mean to hurt you
But could you just slip away
Without him knowing you’re gone
Then we could meet somewhere
Somewhere where we’re both are not known
And guess can you slip away
Slip away
Slip away
I need you so
Oh, can you slip away, baby
I’d like to see you right now, darling
Can you slip away now, baby
‘Cause I got to, I got to see you
I feel a deep burning inside
That voice….

It really is… I didn’t mean for this one to be today since I had the book review before this one but I forgot to reschedule it. It’s funny…people have commented on it…at first I was like what? What voice? lol.

What voice? Haha That gave me my first good chuckle for the day.
I wasn’t familiar with the scheduling option until recently. I’m a bit slow you see. It can get a bit complicated.
I just finished downloading the song into my library. It’s definitely think it will get better the more I hear it.

Which Manson? Charles or Marilyn? I just finished writing a post about a live version of ‘All Along The Watchtower’ which is scheduled to come out on my blog in a couple of weeks. I couldn’t help but not include a link to your wonderful Hendrix cover review.

Charlie… I did that review on that Manson book I was talking about earlier. It was the post before this one.
Well thank you.

You are the last person I see as slow lol.
It took me a while to notice it…now I work everything around it.

Don’t let my Bukowski-esque ‘“Hey baby, when I write, I’m the hero of my shit.” fool ya!
I’m glad the scheduling is working out well for you! Bruce from Weave a Web told me about it about a month ago. My biggest problem prior to that was thinking what I would write about after I woke up. Now, like you, I have it all worked out.

LOL…
I do have a problem thinking of things. I just let my imagination take over and sometimes picking a song out can be a chore. On Fridays I have the powerpop thing so that is getting a little easier.

Interesting. I used to have a problem with selection, but now I am just offloading alphabetically (impartially) from my song list. Here’s my week:
Monday – news post
tuesday – song
Wednesday – Book post
Thursday – song
Friday – movie post
Saturday – song
Sunday – rest day to catch up on other blogger’s posts etc.
I’m relieved I finally have a routine, a system by which I can work off. It’s fun.

You know I’m slowing getting one…
Mon – thinking of song
Tues – The same
Wed – The Same
Thurs – The same
Fri – Powerpop Friday
Sat – Some 70s actor
Sun – Cartoon
and songs in between Sat and Sun… Before I totally guessed. The hardest now is Mon-Thurs…I broke it up today.

Sounds good Bad. Half the fun is having conversations like we are having. It makes it all worthwhile buddy.

Tough to resist those pleas for the one he’s singing it to, I bet.
