      1. somewhere there probably is just a site! I was a gigantic Monty Python fan as a kid… not all of it still makes me laugh but bits of it do… “The Life of Brian” is a comedy classic, but “The Holy Grail” was probably the one for the quotes!

      1. This is just prompting me to write a blog about something I’ve wanted to do for some time…

        When I worked on the radio, we used to use movie lines in the middle of sweepers, and for various other reasons. We used to call them “drops”. Example: (Voice guy) You’re listening to Keith Allen (drop) “a big, stupid, muscle headed moron” (voice guy) on Flint’s Classic Rock Authority 103.9 The Fox!

        I used to sit and record TV shows and movies and watch them only to be listening for lions that I could use in sweepers or on my show!!

        There are so many movies that I laugh at during very serious scenes… Because what’s being said in the scene is something I used as a drop.

        I’m definitely going to have to write that blog…

        There are so many lines you could use… I see that.
        Whenever I think of radio and lines…now I’m switching subjects a little…but remember in the 70s that “song” that came out about JAWS? An interviewer would ask Jaws the shark something and he would answer? Dickie Goodman “Mr. Jaws”…thats it.

        It just reminded me of that when you talked about cutting lines in.

    1. Kidney stone and diverticulitis… it’s been a fun week lol. I’m getting better now. My dad had 70 kidney stones in his life. I hope this isn’t starting something lol.

      Great quote… It’s really fun looking for them. I have to use that one…
