Something In The Air
Call out the instigators
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now
We have got to get it together now
Lock up the streets and houses
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now
We have got to get it together now
Hand out the arms and ammo
We’re going to blast our way through here
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We’re going to blast our way through here
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here, and you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now
We have got to get it together now
That summer at the swimming pool, this always seemed to be playing. It still takes me there when I hear it.

Songs are like time machines…they really are… A few weeks a ago I posted a Sugarloaf song and it took me back to my big sister’s Vega in 1974-75

Always liked this one. I think it was used in the Magic Christian movie or one of those Swingin’ London films.

The Magic Christian you are correct. It’s been a while since I watched that movie. I like some of those films like Blow Up.

Yes it is…you don’t hear it everyday but it’s great when you do.

The 3rd single I ever bought (in Singapore, and the single cover is the one used in your article), I still love it to bits, the message, the strings, the epic-feel. I was 11 years old and it was a major part of my life in 1969, and not nearly as well-known these days as it deserves.
